When we search for a new church, we are often looking for more than a building or a worship service — we want to find a community to belong to. The welcoming team at Hanmaum English Ministry serves to help visitors and newcomers find this community by sharing about our ministry, providing guidance to our newcomers, and finding ways newcomers can build relationships with members of our congregation. We realize deciding whether to join a church community and being a new member of a church can be a challenging transition, and we want to ease this transition by helping newcomers learn more about who we are, what we believe, what our ministry does, and how newcomers can get involved.
Ultimately, the welcoming team wants to help create a ministry where all EM members share God's love and grace by welcoming and accepting newcomers and extending hospitality.
